WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA
Main Street Brenham has announced the winners of the 19th Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza.
Named Best Overall scarecrow and the winner of $300 from KTEX/KWHI is “Campers Have S’more Fun” by the Lutkenhaus Family.
The scarecrow with the Most Votes and the winner of $200 from Hermann Furniture is “Dot” by Brenham Middle School.
The Judges Choice and the winner of $200 from Must Be Heaven is “Vin Diesel” by The Diesel District.
The scarecrow with the Best Fall Theme is “Fall for Jesus, He Never Leaves” by St. Paul’s Christian Day School, winning $125 from Revival Mercantile.
The Silliest scarecrow, winning $125 from The Pomegranate, is “A Minnion Ways to Be Involved in FFA” by Brenham FFA.
The scarecrow with the Best School Spirit is “Path2Success” by Legacy Christian School, winning $125 from The Book Nook.
The Cutest scarecrow and the winner of $125 from The Canyon Chick is “The Queen” by Lilli Ford.
The two Honorable Mention scarecrows, winning $100 apiece from Branded Boutique and Anatomy Clothing Company, are “Scarecrow Dog Walker” by Danna Kelm and “Brenham Tourist” by the Grace Lutheran 7th and 8th Grade Art Class.
Scarecrows must be picked up by 7 p.m. tomorrow (Friday). Photos will be taken with the winners.
