BURTON LADY PANTHERS BEAT BRAZOS CHRISTIAN 3-1 IN WARMUP MATCH
The Burton Lady Panthers got ready for the playoffs with a three sets to one victory over Brazos Christian in a warmup match for the playoffs.
Burton won the first set 25-19, Brazos Christian won the second set 25-23, and then Burton won the final two sets 25-13 and 26-24.
Liesha Aguilar led the offense with 13 kills, while Victoria Wiesepape was right behind her with 12 kills.
Mycah Simank dished out 28 assists, and also led the defense with 16 digs.
The Lady Panthers also got 12 digs each from Paige Fritsch and Kelsie Hohlt, plus 10 digs from Amaya Williams.
Burton now sets their sights on Holland for the Bi-District Round of the Playoffs. First serve is scheduled for 6:30pm at Giddings High School. Dean Dillon and Darrell Kieke will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 6pm on our KWHI.com Sports Alternate Feed and on the KWHI app.
