LOCAL OFFICES ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY CLOSURES

  

Offices in Brenham and Washington County have announced the dates and times they will be closed for Christmas.

City and county offices will all be closed on Friday and Monday.  City closures include city hall, municipal court, pet adoption and animal services, and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.

All pools at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be closed Friday through Monday.  The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will have regular hours except for Christmas.

The Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will remain open for normal hours on Friday, be closed Saturday and Sunday, and have hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday. 

Residential trash pick-up will still run, but BVR Waste & Recycling will only pick up what fits in the cart.   No commercial pick-up will take place on Christmas Day; commercial front-load routes will be made current on Monday after Christmas or the Friday before.

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Friday and Monday.  Bluebonnet members can access their account information, make payments and report power outages by using Bluebonnet’s mobile app, calling 800-949-4414 or going to www.bluebonnet.coop.
