The warning is in effect until noon tomorrow (Wednesday) for Washington, Brazos, Burleson and Madison counties, and continues through 6 a.m. Thursday in Lee County.

Per the NWS, power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.  Hazardous conditions could impact drivers on their morning or evening commutes.

Icing is expected to be the worst in the northern and western portions of Washington, Brazos and Madison counties, with less icing to the south and east.
