CUBS WIN AGAIN AND TO PLAY DOUBLEHEADER
The Brenham Cub Baseball Team beat Episcopal 2-1 last (Friday) night.
Freshman Dawson Keim pitched a gem, going 5 1/3 innings to get the win. Lane Sparks came in to get the last two outs to get the save.
The Cubs got both of their runs in the top of the first inning on an RBI single by Sparks, and an RBI ground by Gunner Gee.
The game was moved to Pearland Dawson. Prior to the start of the game, a fuse blew at the ballpark, knocking out the lights.
Next up, Brenham faces Santa Fe in a doubleheader this (Saturday) beginning at noon. KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 11:35am.
