CONSTRUCTION ON SANDTOWN ROAD, SCHOENEMANN ROAD BEGINNING THURSDAY
Drivers on Sandtown Road and Schoenemann Road northwest of Burton will need to be mindful of road construction starting tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
Washington County Engineering and Development Services will apply an oil-based tack coat for road repairs beginning at 8 a.m.
The construction will take place tomorrow and Friday and will be for the entirety of both roadways from FM 1697. Flaggers will be on site.
The roads will be open, but traffic may be delayed with partial lane closures.
The county will apply a second coat of tack oil next Thursday and Friday, August 3rd and 4th, with the same process.
