CUBETTES GO 2-1 ON DAY TWO OF WARRIOR SHOWCASE

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team went 2-1 on Day Two of the Round Rock Westwood "Warrior Showcase" Tournament earlier today (Friday).

In the first match of the day, the Cubettes lost to Stony Point 2-0, (25-19 and 26-24). Charli Crowson had six kills and 11 assists. Averi Frazier finished with 12 digs and seven assists. Kristen Kuehn added nine digs.

Then, Brenham bounced back with a 2-1 win over Pflugerville Weiss (25-21, 22-25, and 25-18). Rylee Sommerlatte had 11 kills. Lillie Thibodeaux was right behind her with 10 kills. Charli Crowson dished out 19 assists, while Averi Frazier added 13 assists. Kristen Kuehn led the defense with 15 digs, and Sienna Kelm finished with 10 digs.

In their final match of the day, the Cubettes beat Buda Hays 2-0 (25-17 and 25-15). Lillie Thibodeaux had six kills. Averi Frazier dished out 10 assists, while Charli Crowson added 8 assists. Kristen Kuehn led the defense with 11 digs.

Brenham improves to 7-2 on the season. The Warrior Showcase Tournament wraps up with bracket play tomorrow (Saturday).
