SIX PEOPLE ARRESTED BY BRENHAM POLICE

Six people were arrested Saturday in separate incidences by Brenham Police.

They report that early Saturday at 12:15, Officers responded to 1700 block of Highway 105 in reference to a complainant call. Investigation revealed Aldonia Marie Johnson, 57 of Brenham, was intoxicated and on property she’s been previously warned not to enter. Johnson was opening merchandise inside the store and not paying for them. Johnson was placed into custody and booked for Criminal Trespass, Public intoxication, and Theft of Property less than $100.

Then Saturday morning at 8:35, Corporal Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West.  Investigation revealed the driver, Jason Smutz, 46 of Nebraska, to have three active municipal warrants for his arrest. Smutz was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Then Saturday afternoon at 12:10, Officer Myles Masters conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver, Claven Lee Jones III, 22 of Spring, was in possession of Narcotics. During a search of his vehicle, Marijuana and THC Concentrate were located. Claven was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail and booked for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Then Saturday evening at 6:05, Officer Le’Darion Jenkins conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 290 West and West Main Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Damaris Deon Stanley, 22 of Humble, to be in possession of marijuana during a probable cause search. Stanley was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked for Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz.

Then Saturday evening at 6:25, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 2200 block of U.S. Highway 290 East. A probable cause search revealed marijuana was in the vehicle. The driver, Alex Vidal, 27 of Houston, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.

Then Saturday night at 10:15, Officer Lauren Vieceli responded to the 2100 block South Market Street in reference to a Crash. Investigation revealed the driver, Nicolas Vazquez-Alamaguer, 33 of Brenham, was intoxicated. Vazquez-Almaguer was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and a warrant for No Driver’s License. Vazquez-Alamaguer was transported to the Washington County Jail.
