AREA SCHOOL DELAYS, CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER

  

Several schools around the area will be altering their operations today (Wednesday) due to heavy rainfall.

Brenham ISD intends to maintain a regular start, though some bus routes may be affected.  The district is monitoring updates from Washington County for any additional road closures throughout the day.

Bellville ISD campuses will open and operate as regularly scheduled, but all bus routes will have a 90 minute delayed pickup time.

Round Top-Carmine ISD is cancelling school. 

Giddings ISD will have a two-hour delay.

La Grange ISD is cancelling classes.

Fayetteville ISD will have a two-hour delayed start. 

Anderson-Shiro CISD will have a two-hour delayed start. 

Iola ISD will delay its start until 10 a.m.
