WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER EDS, 911 PURCHASES

  

Washington County Commissioners will act on a pair of purchases when they meet Tuesday.

The court will look to accept a bid for Engineering and Development Services fleet vehicles.  Commissioners went out for bids on September 3rd, and the bids were due to the county on September 25th.

Next will be an item for the purchase of public safety computer software from Computer Information Systems for Washington County 911. 

In other business, commissioners will hear the Office of Emergency Management’s quarterly report, consider the 2025 sheriff’s and constable’s fees, vote on a right-of-way permit application for Texas Renegade Outriders LLC, and read a proclamation declaring October 24th as Paint the Town Pink Day for breast cancer awareness.

Also on Tuesday, the court will:

  • Act on a subdivision variance request for a land division fronting Gerland Wagner Road, consisting of 34.38 acres in Precinct 4.
  • Vote on accepting Independence Trail (0.205 miles), located in the Independence Trail subdivision in Precinct 3, into the county road system.
  • Discuss a formal notice from Corix Texas Utilities for a water line bore along the county right of way of Conner Road in Precinct 1.
  • Discuss a formal notice from Industry Telephone Company for an underground fiber cable line along the county right of way of Homeyer Mountain Road and Willie Hinze Road in Precinct 4.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
