BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO GAS LEAK CALL
The Brenham Fire Department handled just one call on Veterans Day.
Brenham Firefighters were dispatched to the 100 Block of Westwood Lane for a report of a gas leak.
The call came in at 11:45am.
BFD Units along with the City of Brenham Gas Department arrived on location to find that a contractor had struck a gas line.
Firefighters stood by on the scene until the gas line was capped off.
They were able to then return to service.
