EIGHT SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT

  

Eight people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st District Court.

23-year-old Christin Antonio Izzekell Torres of Brenham, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 7 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a third degree felony.  Torres was also sentenced to 6 years in prison for second degree felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and 247 days in state jail for Money Laundering $2,500 - $30,000 and Possession of Marijuana 4oz. – 5 lbs, both state jail felonies.

28-year-old Kevin Bledsoe of Brenham, sentenced to 4 years in prison for Robbery, a second degree felony.  Bledsoe was also sentenced to 12 months in state jail for Money Laundering, a state jail felony, and to 180 days in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Abandoning/Endangering a Child, both state jail felonies.

29-year-old Jennifer Reyes Arauz of Houston, sentenced to 2 years in prison for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information 10-50 Items, a second degree felony, and for Theft of Mail Over 30 Addresses, a third degree felony.

28-year-old Javarri Ty’re Earnest Brown of Brenham, sentenced to 143 days in state jail for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information Less than 5 Items, a state felony.

32-year-old Henry Noel Cruz of Brenham, sentenced to 65 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a state jail felony. 

40-year-old Dettra Alise Pruitt of Liberty, sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Stalking, a third degree felony.  Pruitt was also fined $500, ordered to perform 50 hours of community service and must maintain no contact with the victim in the case. 

34-year-old Christopher Wayne Miller of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation on two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, both state jail felonies.  Miller must also pay a $500 fine and $360 in restitution, in addition to completing 100 hours of community service.

27-year-old Alexandra Alyse Spencer of Deer Park, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a state jail felony.  Spencer must also pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
