FILING FOR NAVASOTA SCHOOL BOARD BEGINS JANUARY 15

  

The Navasota School Board has set January 15^th as the day to begin filing for the May 3, 2025 election.

This year, there will be three positions on the ballot. Up for election are Paul Malek for Position One, Valerie Jefferson for Position Two, and Trisha Harris for Position Three.

Each school board member serves a three-year term.

All three incumbents began serving together in 2016, and were re-elected in 2019 and 2022.

Applications to run for the school board will be taken through February 14 at 5pm at the Superintendent’s Office in the Navasota Administration Building located at 705 East Washington Street.

Superintendent Dr. Stu Musick noted that the office will be closed February 10-13 for the district’s Winter Break. However, the office will be open on February 14 from 2-5pm for anyone that would like to file on that day.
