VOTING OPEN FOR 2025 BRAZOS VALLEY EDUCATOR AWARDS
Several local teachers, administrators, staff members and coaches are up for honors in the 2025 Brazos Valley Educators’ Society’s awards program.
Educators from Brenham, Caldwell, Snook, Hempstead, Navasota, Bryan, College Station, Calvert and Hearne are part of this year’s nominee lists.
Voting categories include superintendents; campus administration; teachers between elementary, middle and high school; rookie teachers; professional staff; athletic coaches in middle and high school; paraprofessionals/instructional assistants; collegiate staff; early childhood directors/teachers; and auxiliary/maintenance/transportation staff.
Among the nominees from Brenham ISD:
- Clay Gillentine – Superintendent
- Melissa Boenker and Will Corn – Campus Administration
- Kristi Pharaon – Elementary School Teacher
- Jennifer Ebel, Kimberly Kenjura, Dylan Klovenski and Amy Leasure – Middle School Teacher
- Vanessa Davis, Matthew DuPont, Heather Kaldis, Cindy Markos, Kate Shaw and Mary Schulze – High School Teacher
- Lauren Anthis, Cheryl Bennett-Preston and Tiffany Reagan – Rookie Teacher
- Chelsea Best, Misti Davis, Amanda Dismukes, Roseann Mueller, Kristie Sternadel and Andrea White – Professional Staff
- Jessica Ross, Keianna Smith and Ladarius Schefflette – Paraprofessional Staff
- Madison Ruiz – Collegiate-Level Teacher
The first round of voting is open through Friday, February 28th at https://bvedsociety.com.
Educators will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Friday, June 6th at the Brazos County Expo.
