TERRORISTIC THREAT, THEFT, DRUG POSSESSION AMONG CHARGES FOR SIX BOOKED BY BRENHAM PD OVER WEEKEND

  

Brenham police arrested six people over the weekend on varying charges.

Kelbresha Xanae Moore
(Washington Co. Jail)

At noon on Friday, Officer Bryan Morong responded to the 2600 block of Schulte Boulevard in response to a reported threat.  After investigation, 21-year-old Kelbresha Xanae Moore of Brenham was arrested for Terroristic Threat and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Osirus Ne Ron Chandler

At 8:30 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling and Corporal Grayson Marburger went to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to shoplifting.  Upon arrival, officers located 25-year-old Osirus Chandler of Houston walking out of the store after allegedly stealing property.  After Chandler was placed into custody, police searched his person and reported finding marijuana.  Chandler was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Theft of Property $100-$750 and Possession of Marijuana.

Christian Alexander Sanchez

Approaching 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Sergeant Crystal Buckner conducted a motorist assist in the 2700 block of South Market Street.  After further investigation, a standardized field sobriety test was conducted.  The driver, 29-year-old Christian Alexander Sanchez of Houston was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense. 

Andrew Cienega Garcia

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 2400 block of South Market Street.  After investigation, police say that the driver, 55-year-old Andrew Garcia of Brenham, was in possession of narcotics.  He was placed into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams.

Matthew David Todd

Around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Officer Rolling responded to a call for service in reference to a disturbance in the 2300 block of South Austin Street.  Initial investigation revealed that 26-year-old Matthew David Todd of Brenham had allegedly assaulted a family member.  Todd was taken to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member. 

Stacy Wayne Rhoads

Shortly past 1:45 p.m., Sergeant Ha stopped a vehicle near the 800 block of Highway 290 East.  Police say their investigation indicated that the driver, 54-year-old Stacy Rhoads of Brenham, was in possession of narcotics.  Rhoads was taken into custody for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams.
