VOTING OPEN FOR SPRING EGGS ART WALK

  

Voting is underway in Main Street Brenham’s annual Spring Eggs Art Walk. 

Dozens of eggs decorated for the spring and Easter season are scattered across downtown, nearby local businesses and attractions.

The public is encouraged to vote for their favorite eggs, giving the artists an opportunity to win prize money.

Nine prizes will be awarded for a total of $1,200, including eight across student and adult age divisions in categories such as Most Creative, Most Votes, Judge’s Choice and Best Easter Theme.  There is also a $200 grand prize from Best of Show, sponsored by Kieke Egg Farm. 

Other prize sponsors are Doug Peck Studios, The Book Nook, Scrubs ‘N Stuff Boutique, Schleider Furniture, Visser Emporium, Hermann Furniture, Must Be Heaven and Bank of Brenham.

Voting continues through April 11^th.  Ballots can be picked up and returned at downtown sponsor locations and at the Brenham Washington County Visitor Center.  An online auction for the eggs will begin on April 1^st, with proceeds being split between the egg artist and Main Street Brenham.

The winners will be announced on April 14^th.
