Just past 1 p.m., another call of a gas odor came in at West Jefferson Street and LJ Street.  Firefighters and gas department employees investigated the area for a leak or smell, and firefighters were cleared to return to the station.

Approaching 1:15 p.m., the department went out to a fire alarm at Chick-fil-A, 1161 Highway 290 East.  Units determined the alarm was set off by cleaning, and the alarm was reset.
