LEADERSHIP WASHINGTON COUNTY CELEBRATES 2024-25 GRADUATES

  

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce congratulates the 2024-25 class of Leadership Washington County.

Program graduates were recognized at a banquet on Wednesday at the Ant Street Inn.

Leadership Washington County is a ten-month leadership development program that started in 1990, when business leaders felt the need to educate, train and provide experiences to enhance leadership skills.  It began with classes being held every other year, but since 2000, the program has been held every year.  To date, 735 individuals have graduated from the program.

Day-long sessions are held once a month, beginning in August and continuing through May.  Sessions this year covered team building, history, education, emergency management/local government, healthcare/EMS, state government, economic development, law enforcement/public safety and ag business.
