BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON TAX WARRANTS
A Brenham man was arrested on Monday for warrants for not paying taxes.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., Brenham Police Sergeant Jose Perez located a person reported to be suspicious in the 2200 block of South Chappell Hill Street.
Police say their investigation revealed that 37-year-old Artis James Edwards Jr. showed to have three active warrants out of the City of Brenham for Failure to Pay Taxes Collect $50 - $500 (Hotel Occupancy Taxes).
Edwards was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
