WASHINGTON CO. LIFTS BURN BAN

  

Washington County is lifting its burn ban.

A notice from the county announced that the burn ban has been lifted as of today (Tuesday).  Residents conducting any outdoor burns are advised to continue to use caution.

The burn ban had been effective since mid-October.

Several other area counties have also lifted their burn bans this week, including Brazos, Burleson, Colorado and Waller counties.  Austin, Fayette, Grimes and Lee counties still have burn bans in place as of today (Tuesday).
