The Brenham Maifest Association will mark the start of 2026’s festivities at the 136th Maifest Serenade.

The event is set for Sunday, January 18th at 2 p.m. in the Hasskarl Auditorium at The Barnhill Center.
The Serenade will reveal the members of the new Junior and Senior Maifest courts, as well as the theme for the 2026 Maifest and some of the activities planned for Maifest weekend.
The festival will be held Mother’s Day weekend, May 8-9.
KWHI will broadcast the Serenade live beginning at 1:45 p.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
