WATER MAIN BREAK PROMPTS BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR CITY OF BRENHAM RESIDENTS

  

A boil water notice has gone into effect for all City of Brenham residents, following a water main break.

In a notice this (Monday) evening, the city said it is working to restore water service and pressure after a water main break in the 600 block of East Blue Bell Road.

Until further notice, residents are advised to boil tap water before drinking, cooking, or brushing their teeth. Water should be brought to a rolling boil and allowed to boil for two minutes before use. Additionally, residents should not use chilled water lines on refrigerators and should not use ice from automatic ice machines.
