WASHINGTON CO. OFFICES TO CLOSE MONDAY FOR TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY
Washington County will observe Texas Independence Day on Monday.
The day is a county holiday, so all county offices and facilities will be closed.
City of Brenham offices and facilities will remain open for normal operations. The next holiday for the city and the county will be Good Friday on April 3rd.
Monday is the 190th anniversary of Texas’ declaration of independence from Mexico in 1836.
