BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO RECEIVE DONATION, RECOGNIZE STUDENTS & STAFF

  

The Brenham School Board will act on a donation and recognize several student groups when it meets Monday.

The board will consider a monetary donation from the Texas Arts and Music Festival.  Each year, the fall festival in downtown Brenham raises funding for educational resources supporting local students and their pursuit of the arts.

In related matters, trustees will read a proclamation recognizing March as Arts in Education Month.

Additionally, the board will recognize students and staff members through the monthly campus spotlight, as well as the CTE Department.  In addition, it will congratulate the Washington County Spelling Bee winners and receive a presentation from the CSI LEGO League team.

Later, trustees will receive a financial update.  They will then go into executive session for discussion and possible approval of contracts for directors, principals, assistant principals and coordinators. 

The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.
