SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARREST FOR INVALID LICENSE

A Hempstead woman was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday for an invalid license charge.
At 10:15 p.m., Deputy Jacob Faske initiated a traffic stop in the 1100 block of FM 1155 North, for no front license plate lights.
The sheriff’s office reported that the driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid license and did not have insurance for the vehicle.
42-year-old Lakisa Marie Penrice was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was charged with Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
