FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO WATER RESCUE CALL

  

Saturday morning just before 7am, the Brenham Fire Department responded to the area of FM 1697 and FM 2780 in Burton for a water rescue with a car in a road ditch half full of water.

The Brenham Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Department and the Washington County EMS checked the area for over an hour and was unable to locate the vehicle.

BFD was able to locate some marks on the roadway that looked like a car was pulled from the ditch prior to Emergency crew’s arrival.
