BLUEBONNET REPRESENTATIVES PRESENT CHECK TO RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

Representatives from Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative present a $13,000 check to the Ronald McDonald House in Austin. The money is to help cover the cost of temporary housing for families of sick or injured children from nine Central Texas counties in Bluebonnet’s service area. The grant is from the first round of Bluebonnet Community Grants that were awarded to 38 local nonprofit organizations.

The deadline to submit applications for the next round of grants is Feb. 15, 2016. For more information, go to bluebonnet.coop/grants.
