2016 MAIFEST TO INCLUDE SOME NEW FEATURES
Some changes will be coming to this year’s celebration of Brenham Maifest.
This year’s event will only run two days, due to Mothers’ Day. Events will be held Friday and Saturday, May 6th and 7th.
The coronations will be, as usual, Friday night for the Juniors and Saturday night for the Seniors.
The Maifest Parade will kick off Saturday the 7th at 10:30 in downtown Brenham.

The CASA for Kids program is part of the Kids Helping Kids Initiative, which benefits Brenham Faith Mission.

The entertainment will include German entertainment in the afternoons with the Round Top Brass Band and Gene Hackamack.
Friday night will feature local talent: Ben Laskoskie, the Amalang Brothers, Steven Marshall and the Blue Grooves.
Saturday night will feature Abigail Taylor and the Risky Liver Band, Austin Meade and the Wesley Westbrook Band.
This year’s Maifest will also include local dance grouips, Maipole dances, a new beer tasting event and a beanbag tournament.
