BCA SWIMMERS MEDAL AT STATE MEET

Brenham Christian Academy freshman Andrea Jantzi brought home an individual gold medal from the 2016 TAPPS state Division III swim meet earlier today (February 12th) in San Antonio by winning the 100 yard backstroke in a time of 1:03.11.

She also captured third place in the 200 yard Individual Medley (IM), swimming a time of 2:21.68. Older brother Aaron Jantzi, a junior, also medaled in both of his races, taking second in the 100 yard backstroke in 57.70 and third in the 100 yard butterfly in 55.99 seconds.

Sophomore Alanna Foster also competed for BCA and scored points, placing 7th in the 100 yard butterfly and 11th in the 200 yard IM. As a team, BCA scored 49 points to finish in a tie for 11th place out of 33 schools.
