BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS APPROVE VARIANCE REQUESTS

Three variance requests were approved at the Brenham Board of Adjustments meeting Monday. One being for a required minimum average lot depth of 115 feet. The other two for a required 25 foot rear yard setback, and a required 25 foot front yard setback for a single family residential lot at 1506 South Jackson Street – which is proposed to be divided into two single family residential lots.

The idea to change the ordinance to allow digital billboards within the city limits as well as extra territorial jurisdiction was presented to the Board. A representative from the company will take the ordinance change request to the City Council as a future item – possibly as early as next week.

The Board also approved reducing the minimum parking space dimensions as well as reducing the aisle dimension requirement for off-street parking for an existing parking lot at 2505 Stone Hollow Drive in Brenham.
