WASHINGTON COUNTY RUNOFF ELECTION BEING HELD TODAY
The Runoff Election in Washington County is being held today.
One local seat is up for grabs – the Republican nomination for County Commissioner in Precinct One between incumbent Zeb Heckmann who says he has been going out into the public in campaign for this election.
And challenger Don Koester who also says that he’s done his best to meet as many people as he can.
The winner will face Democrat Lewis Houser in the November general election.
On the Democratic ballot, the lone race is for Railroad Commissioner between Cody Garrett and Grady Yarborough.
Polls will be open today (Tuesday) from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Precinct 101: Friedens Church of Washington
Precincts 104, 115, 117, 121: Washington Co. Fair Events Center
Precinct 109: St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Sandy Hill
Precincts 202, 203, 205, 208: VFW Hall, Brenham
Precincts 307, 311, 312, 316, 320: American Legion Hall, Brenham
Precincts 406, 410, 413, 414, 418, 419: Blinn Student Center
