LEE COUNTY TO HOST RELAY FOR LIFE
Giddings is hosting the Lee County “Relay for Life” this evening (Friday) in order to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The 2016 Relay for Life of Lee County will be held at Giddings High School – Hwy 77 N. from 6:00pm to 12:00am.
Erin Robinson with Lee County’s Relay for Life explains why they have themed this year “Race to a Million”.
A candlelight Luminaria ceremony to remember loved ones lost and in support of those currently fighting will be had at 9:00pm with the closing ceremony at midnight.
Our sister station, KTEX 106 will be broadcasting live from this year’s Lee County Relay for Life.
