BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPOND TO REPORTED HOUSE FIRE

  

On Saturday at just before 6:45pm the Brenham Fire Department responded to State Highway 36 south and FM 109 for a reported house fire. Department units arrived and found the occupant had burned food on the stove. Units checked the area around the stove and removed smoke from the home. Damage was confined to the vent hood and minor smoke damage throughout the house.

On Sunday just after noon the fire department responded to 2475 S Chappell Hill St, Brenham Oaks Apartment for a reported fire. Fire Department units arrived and found a water heater smoking. Units turned the power off to the water heater and check the area around it to make sure nothing else was on fire. Damage was to the water heater and no other damage found.
