GRIMES COUNTY POOR BOYS ANNUAL BENEFIT
The 2016 Grimes County Poor Boys Benefit Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday, August 6th at the Grimes County Expo Center and Fairgrounds.
A ribeye steak meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. and the auction will follow at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for kids, and children under 5 are free. Tickets will not be pre-sold, so admission will be at the door.
The organization will once again be having the “Five Guns for Five Bucks” raffle. The drawing will be held at the benefit. Tickets can be purchased at the C&M Machine and the First National Bank of Anderson.
The Grimes County Poor Boys Organization was founded over 20 years ago by individuals who wanted to support the youth of Grimes County. In addition to helping the youth with their animals at the Grimes County Fair, the organization sponsors events at the fair, and gives out scholarships.
