TEXAS SALES TAX HOLIDAY THIS WEEKEND
The Texas Tax Free Holiday runs this weekend from Friday until Sunday, August 5th-7th. The holiday allows families an opportunity to avoid paying sales tax on clothing, footwear, school supplies, and backpacks that cost less than $100.

Many stores and malls are extending their hours for the weekend. The holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday morning and ends Sunday at midnight.
