AMERICAN RED CROSS TRAINING TO BE HELD

  

The American Red Cross is holding a training session for anyone who would like to know more about how shelters work. The session will be held August 27th at St. John Lutheran Church Faith Center in Bellville.

The need for the training session stems from the recent flooding that caused road closures in May. Red Cross volunteers were unable to get to certain counties where shelters were needed. In response, the Red Cross would like to train more volunteer teams that would be able to open up shelters in Austin, Waller or Colorado Counties.
