CITY OF BRENHAM OPENS BIDS ON HOHLT PARK TRAIL REPAIR

The City of Brenham is set to open bids Tuesday for contractors to repair the walking trail at Hohlt Park. City Public Works Director Dane Rau says the cost of the project means an engineer must be hired and the project bid out.  Rau has been working with O’Malley-Strand Associates on the project.

The trail was heavily damaged in the May flooding. Rau said the city plans to open bids on Tuesday and award a contractor on Aug. 18th.

Rau says he expects the project getting started around Sept. 1st.
