TEXAS WORD WRANGLER BOOK FESTIVAL SET FOR SEPTEMBER 9TH

  

The 11th Annual Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival is set to take place on Friday, September 9th.

This year, organizers have enlisted over 30 authors to come and spend the day at the Giddings Public Library for readings, excerpts, and book signings. This year’s festival will also include a special program honoring Home-Town Heroes.

The Texas Word Wrangler Festival began in Giddings in September of 2005. The town wanted to recognize local and state authors. The Giddings Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Giddings Public Library and Cultural Center to create the Texas Word Wranglers. Every year, authors submit their stories to the library and up around 30 are chosen based on certain criteria.
