BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO GRASS FIRE

  

The Brenham Fire Department extinguished a grass fire Sunday afternoon.

A call came in Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. reporting a grass fire near 2900 Old Chappell Hill Road. When the Brenham Fire Department arrived, they found an electric line of the ground with two small grass fires nearby.

The BFD called for an additional booster truck from the Salem Fire Department. The Brenham Fire Department, along with the Salem Fire Department, extinguished the fires without incident.
