BRENHAM HOSTS HOOPS TWIN-BILL TONIGHT

The Brenham Cubs and Cubettes basketball teams will host a doubleheader tonight at the Brenham High School gym.

The Cubettes (4-2) will open with A&M Consolidated at 5:30 in Brenham’s home opener.

The Cubettes are coming off a successful weekend, where they won the Brookshire-Royal Tournament with a 4-1 record.

The Cubs will follow at 7:00 with Manor.

For the Cubs it is their season opener.

The Cubs are coming off a successful 2015-16 season that saw them advance to the Region Semifinals.

Brenham returns two starters (Matt Adams and Darvis Watson) and a number of players who saw significant playing time last year.

KWHI will have live coverage of the Cubs and Cubettes’ district games in 2016-17.
