CONSTRUCTION WORK TO BEGIN ON HIGHWAY 6, SOUTH OF NAVASOTA
Beginning next Tuesday, the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) contractor will start construction to build median cross-overs with acceleration and deceleration lanes on State Highway 6, south of Navasota.
The project will be about 10 miles long, stretching from County Road 413 to the Waller County Line.
This $6 million construction project is expected to take 15 months to complete.
TXDOT officials say during the project, commuters should be aware that there will be daily lane closures. All main lanes will be reopened at the end of each day.
