UPDATED: WASHINGTON COUNTY ROAD CLOSURES

  

Nine roads in Washington County remain closed this (Tuesday) afternoon due to high water.

The Washington County Road and Bridge Department reports the following roads are closed as of 3:50 p.m.:

• Old Gay Hill Road between Pledger Road and County Farm Lane.
• Old Chappell Hill Road between Chappell Gate and Indian Paintbrush Road.
• Salem Road between Apperson Road and Woodlands Drive.
• Jeske Road between Old Independence Road and FM 50.
• Old Navasota Road between Allen Road and Old Chappell Hill Road.
• Willie Hinze Road between Spreen Road and Cedar Hill Road.
• Tommelson Creek Road between Spreen Road and Cedar Hill Road.
• Earlywine Road between Meyersville Road and Copelyn Springs Road.
• Meyersville Road at New Year Creek, between Wiesepape  Road and FM 1155.
