BRENHAM CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY BAKE SALE THIS SATURDAY

  

The Brenham Citizens Police Academy is holding a bake sale this Saturday to raise money for the police department.

The event is happening Saturday at the Walgreens in Brenham from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

“There are two fundraisers a year and this is one of them” says Sherry Parker, secretary for the Citizens Police Academy.   “We have a bake sale every Mother’s Day weekend.”

All the funds raised from the event will go back to the Brenham Police Department.

“There will also be fingerprinting available for young children” says Parker. “It’s important in case they get lost then we would have them on file. It’s also fun for the kids.”

There will also be a fire truck, ambulance, and police car on display.
