MAN ARRESTED FOR SETTING TRAILER ON FIRE

  

A man has been arrested after allegedly setting a trailer on fire in Warrenton.

46-year-old Denton Lee Foster, of Zandt, is charged with arson.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, a call came in just before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. The caller said a trailer located on Rohde Road was set on fire during the night.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a 10 foot camping trailer that had been destroyed in the fire.

Authorities learned Foster stayed in the trailer, but was recently asked to leave.

Investigator Garrett Durrenberger, along with a Texas State Fire Marshall, interviewed Foster. Information from the conversation led to his arrest.

Foster was taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
