CHAPPELL HILL TO HOST THEIR BIGGEST SMALL TOWN 4TH OF JULY PARADE
Chappell Hill is gearing up for one of the “biggest small town parades” in Texas this July 4th as they host their 41st Annual Independence Day Parade at 10AM in downtown Chappell Hill.
This year’s theme is America: Home of the Beautiful, the Brave and the Free.
State Representative Leighton Schubert (R-Caldwell) will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal.
The Patriot Guard and the Washington County EMS Honor Guard will assist with opening ceremonies and the World Famous Marching Kazoo Band will be making an appearance. Any child wanting to join the kazoo band is welcome.All area veterans are invited to ride in the designated Veterans Floats, stationed at the corner of Poplar & Main Street.
A Cool Rods Car Show will immediately following the parade.
There will be a food truck selling food, refreshments and snow cones throughout the event and there will be free “choo-choo” train rides available for kids.

There will be two free parking lots available this year, one off of FM 2447 and one off of FM 1155 by the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
