AUSTIN CO. FAIR NAMES LITTLE, JR. MISTER AND MISS, JR. FAIR QUEEN
Several Austin County youth were recognized Wednesday, as the Austin County Fair named its Little and Jr. Mister and Miss winners.
This year’s Little Miss is Hayden Thomas, and Little Mister is Liam Skaggs.
First runner-up for Little Miss is Rinley Nelson, who also won Best Western Attire. Second runner-up was Brooklyn Bettis, and Most Photogenic was Amberlee Semmler.
For Little Mister, first runner-up was Jaxson Toman, and second was Reed Huffman. Liam Skaggs also won Best Western Attire, and Cash Heath, Jr. won Most Photogenic.
Jr. Miss this year is Emerson Bubak, and Jr. Mister was named Ethan Girts.
First runner-up for Jr. Miss is Presley Harkness, and second went to Presley Jones. Zoe Clark won Best Western Attire and Most Photogenic.
Jr. Mister first runner-up was Levi McNeely, who also won Most Photogenic. Second runner-up and Best Western Attire went to Cody Smith.
Also named Wednesday was the Jr. Fair Queen. This year’s Austin County Jr. Fair Queen is Abby Keen, who also won Best Western Attire. First runner-up is Lily Kunkel, and Madison Bachman received second runner-up. Kortney Falk won Most Photogenic.
Fair activities continue today (Thursday) with the parade through downtown Bellville, beginning at the Austin County Courthouse. You can hear the parade live this morning starting at 9:30 a.m. on KWHI and KTEX-106.
The Queen’s Contest and Crowning takes place at 5:30 p.m., followed by performances from Kody West at 8 p.m. and Parker McCollum at 10 p.m.
Today is also Armed Forces Day, where guests can get $5 off their tickets if they are in uniform or display military ID.
