AUSTIN COUNTY COMMUNITY CORE TO HOST BASS TOURNAMENT SATURDAY
Austin County’s Community CORE will be hosting a bass fishing tournament and fish fry out of the Austin County Fairgrounds Saturday.
Community CORE benefits local organizations, groups, and non-profits. The fishing tournament will benefit the Austin County Crime Stoppers, and previous benefits have benefited causes such as the Volunteer Fire Departments and Young Life.
The tournament fee is $50.00 per team for a 2-person team (which includes the post tournament dinner), the tournament will feature fishing for big bass and 3 bass stringers.
The tournament will begin at daybreak, and weigh-in will be from 5-6pm at the fairgrounds music stage.
Sign up must be no later than Friday, June 30th.
Forms can be dropped off at Winklemann Wellness in Bellville or at Harrison Farm Services, or to the names at the bottom.
Prizes will be awarded for heaviest bass, 1st and 2nd heaviest stringer.
Awards will be handed out at 7, and the meal, with a drive thru option will be from 5:30-7:30.
Meal tickets without participating in the tournament are $10.00.
