BLUEBONNET ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE WORKING WITH THOSE AFFECTED DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative is working with its members in need of financial assistance on an individual, case-by-case basis during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Public Affairs Manager Will Holford said that assistance includes payment arrangements and partial payments for members who cannot pay their entire bill, as well as connecting members with organizations and churches that provide financial assistance.

Holford said, for members whose jobs and incomes have been affected by COVID-19, Bluebonnet will not disconnect them for nonpayment.

While Bluebonnet’s member service center lobbies have been closed to the public, members in need of assistance with their bills can still call Bluebonnet at 800-842-7708 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The drive-through lanes at Bluebonnet’s five member service centers remain open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Members can continue to make payments and report power outages online at www.bluebonnet.coop, or by downloading the co-op’s mobile app.
