BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR BURGLARY
A Brenham man has been sentenced to seven years in prison on a Burglary of a Habitation charge.
20-year old Dayronn Clyde McCowan Jr. had his probation revoked on a 2017 charge. He was also fined nearly $1500.
McCowan was arrested last month on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear.
Also sentenced Thursday:
30-year old Jeremy Lester Hudgeons of Brenham had his 2017 probation revoked for Possession of Prohibited Weapons—a short-barrel firearm.
Hudgeons was sentenced to four years in prison and fined over $970.
25-year old Dominik Tyion Mosley of Hempstead, had his probation revoked and wasn sentenced to four years in prison for a 2017 arrest for Assault of a Family Member Impede Breath/Circulation – a Third Degree Felony. Mosley was also fined $970.
39-year old Clarice Eugenia Devault of Brenham, was sentenced to 10 month in jail for Attempted Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.
34-year old Ryan Patrick Dougherty of Bellville, placed on five years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a Third Degree Felony. Dougherty was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of Community Service.
63-year old Joyce Marie Farrington of Brenham received two years’ probation for Injury to the Elderly – a State Jail Felony. Farrington was also fined $500, ordered to perform 100 hours of Community Service and must register with Health and Human Services Commission and not work as a caretaker.
And, 38-year old Wilbert Crathers of Lewisville, placed on four years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More Offense – a Third Degree Felony. Crathers was also fined $1500, sentenced to 10 days in the Washington County Jail, and ordered to perform 150 hours of Community Service.
