BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO MEET MONDAY

  

A closed-door discussion of the district’s safety and security is part of a lengthy agenda for the Burton School Board meeting Monday evening.

The board will meet Monday night at 6:30 at the administrative office.

Board members will discuss personnel and district safety and security in executive session.  If any action is taken, it be voted on when open session resumes.

Also at Monday’s meeting, the board will host a public hearing on the 2017-18 Texas Academic Performance Report; Consider the sale of a portable building; Consider the calendar for the 2019-20 school year; Approve instructional materials allotment a TEKS Certification for 2019-20; And hear reports from the Superintendent, Principals and Athletic Director.

The board meets Monday night at the Administrative Office at 701 North Railroad St. in Burton.
